Supported by a RGC Direct Allocation Grant - Funding Support to Small Projects provided by Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Summer 2021-Summer 2023), I worked on a Digital Humanities project that applies social network analysis to the study of literary communities. Through combining perspectives and analytical tools from the fields of network analysis and literary criticism, this project aims to visualize and analyze the poetry exchange network among female poets in late imperial China.
Now the preliminary data generated from this project that contains 2340 people (nodes) and 3710 relations (edges) is available as a network here. You may explore the network below. You may change the number and size for nodes and edges. You may also hover to see data such as in-degree, out-degree numbers for each node.
